Objectives: Many of us are extraordinarily creative and extremely  good at Home Staging.  But actually qualifying and closing a sale is a unique ability.  June Carter of GYST* Solutions will share her system, Master Sales Strategy, to qualify, strategize and close sales.  Closing the Home Staging Sale is for new or experienced Home Staging Professionals. This presentation will show step by step how to apply a structured thought process to qualify sales opportunities, close sales and get contracts signed. Both complex and simple sales are addressed using real life experiences.  Participants are engaged using lecture, case study, class exercise and fun.  By focusing on qualified business opportunities, using a strategic thought process, the Home Staging Professional can turn those opportunities into profits.

Bio

A unique mix of skill sets allows June Carter to be here with you. June is an entrepreneur, founding Corporate Interior Solutions and GYST* Solutions. She has moved within the worlds of corporations and creativity. Her experience inside major corporations such as AIG, NBC, Steelcase, Knoll and 3form provided June the right forums for problem solving, design and business. With a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design, June’s career as a Certified Professional Organizer and an Accredited Staging Professional Master is the result of the combined ability to be creative, provide spatial solutions, increase productivity, apply Professional Organizing skills, finesse sales and set priorities.

June is a Certified Professional Organizer (CPO), an Accredited Staging Professional Master (ASPM), Certified Accredited Staging Professional instructor for the International Association of Home Staging Professionals (IAHSP), the Home Stager Coach for the IAHSP Coaching program and a graduate of the Coach Approach for Organizers Foundation Coach training program.

Home Staging and Professional Organizing combine all of June’s background and experience and allows June to create beautiful spaces and get measurable results.

Barb Schwarz is the Inventor, Creator and True Visionary who invented Home Staging in the early 70’s.

She has built the Staging Industry from day one and continues to do so through her Speaking around the world.

In 1999 Barb founded and began to build all of the following: 

Stagedhomes.com, the very first Staging Educational Website in the World on Home Staging, 

The Staging University, 

The First Home Staging Course and First Staging Designation, 

The IAHSP Staging Association which she built for 18 years as well as 

World Wide Staging Service Week, known as WWSSW.

Barb is also The World Wide Global Goodwill Ambassador and Chairwoman Emeritus OF IAHSP.

Many of you are in Barb’s latest Book, “STAGING THE WORLD,” She is so very proud to have you who shared your wonderful stories in her book. Many of you have read her best selling books on Home Staging and Real Estate. 

This year Barb marks her 35th anniversary year as a Certified Speaking Professional Speaker.  

She is considered to be one of the top 250 Speakers in the world stated by the National Speakers Association, who awarded Barb the Coveted ‘Certified Speaking Professional Award and Designation’ in 1990 and attended by the Vice President of the United States.

Bio

Jennie Norris is the Chairwoman for the International Association of Home Staging Professionals® (IAHSP®), helping to guide the Home Staging industry and providing leadership worldwide. With over 4,000 members, IAHSP® is the world’s largest and longest-running professional home staging industry association.  In 2003, she started the first IAHSP® Regional Chapter and helped launch over 150 member chapters to date to help provide members with local resources for networking and sharing.  In her role as IAHSP® Chairwoman, she initiated the first collaboration with industry leaders from other staging organisations to help bring the industry closer and provide more ideas and resources for all members. She is currently leading the process of establishing industry standards for professional Home Stagers to help better educate our core client base and the public.  Jennie also runs the IAHSP® Foundation, raising funds annually for Worldwide Staging Service Week® (WWSSW®) where members give back to their communities, donating their time, energy and resources to a deserving entity or individual.

Jennie is also the President & CEO of Stagedhomes.com, the world’s largest and oldest training company for real estate agents to learn how to incorporate Staging as a key listing and marketing tool, and for those who want to establish, market, manage and maintain successful Staging companies.  Her passion for the industry, success of colleagues, and dedication to the company mission is what drives her daily. Jennie is known as a high-energy individual, with a mind that engages quickly and a passion for helping people. Her goal is to keep Stagedhomes.com as the industry leader for Home Staging education and business success throughout the world.  Prior to purchasing the company in 2016, Jennie was the ASP® Business Coach, and served as the Director of Training for Stagedhomes.com.  She has spoken at REALTOR® Conventions in Pennsylvania, NY, NJ, MD. 

Jennie owns and operates Sensational Home Staging, a full-service staging company serving the greater Denver region.  She earned her Accredited Staging Professional® (ASP®) Designation in 2002 and her ASP Master® Designation in 2004. She started her first home staging company in Sacramento in 2002, and in 2009 moved to Denver.  She and her team Stage 400 vacant and occupied properties per year and to date Jennie and her teams have Staged over 5,100 properties and over $3 Billion in real estate.  Jennie is part of Staging features on ABC’s 20/20, NBC’s The Today Show, HGTV television and online segments, national and local publications, and radio. She is the only 2-Time Winner of the Staging Award of Excellence and the first recipient of the IAHSP Spirit Award, voted on by peers in the Home Staging industry. Jennie has earned her ASP-REO™ (Real Estate Owned & Investor Properties), ASP-SRS™ (Senior Relocation Specialist) Designations, ASP-BTS™ (Buyer Trends Specialist) Designation, IAHSP-Colour Basics, and IAHSP-LHS – Luxury Home Specialist Designations, and has attended and spoken at every IAHSP® Conference held from 2003 to the present.  

Since 2005, she has presented the Accredited Staging Professional® (ASP®) Course as a Certified ASP® Course Trainer throughout North America, currently teaching the advanced ASP Master® Course. She has shared with and educated thousands of real estate industry professionals and Stagers about Home Staging and has helped mentor Home Stager colleagues as a Business Coach, Trainer and colleague. In 2012, Jennie co-authored the book, “Marketing Made Simple” with Barb Schwarz.

Jennie is an avid blogger, social media and marketing expert.  She received a degree in Psychology with a Biology emphasis from UCLA and provided Marketing and Sales for large environmental engineering companies that oversaw the remediation of some of the nation’s largest Superfund sites. When she had the first of four children (a girl and 3 boys), she left the corporate world and found her way into Staging through a desire to earn income doing something using her creative talents while also giving her flexibility to raise her family. Jennie and her husband of nearly 32 years, John, currently live in Littleton, CO with their 4 children living at home or nearby.  Her daughter, an ASP® Stager, works with her on her Sensational Home Staging team and her oldest son, a REALTOR®, works with her husband in real estate.  The other two boys are completing school and have expressed a desire to work in the family businesses.
